Azhar Sindhu

Chairman and Managing Director

Azhar is an accomplished executive, excels in organizational performance improvement, blending business and tech strategy. With experience of two successful tech startups and four large enterprises, he founded NARA Education to develop a tech-based education system in Pakistan by applying his business and technology transformation skills.

Kornelia Peregi

Director

Kornelia is a professor of English at Lone Star College. She has a Master’s in Linguistics from The University of Houston. She speaks multiple European languages fluently. She has been involved in teaching English to native and non-native speakers for over 30 years. Her love of teaching has inspired her to be a part of the NARA Education.

Heather Brodersen 5

Heather Brodersen

Director

Heather is a retired U.S. military member who has spent her retirement volunteering and working for a non-profit.  She earned her degree in Technical Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.  During her military career, she taught English as a Second Language in Japan, privately tutored students and taught computer classes.  She also volunteered in many capacities at elementary, middle and high schools.  Education, life-long learning and accessibility for all students are high priorities for Heather.

Ilona Sindhu

Director

Ilona is a writer focusing on myth, specifically Old Norse. Born in Houston, Texas to a Hungarian mother and a Pakistani father, she incorporates the cultures, mythologies, and unique points of view of the three countries of her upbringing in her work. Her first love being theatre, she was Stage Manager in Residence at the New York Opera Exchange for two seasons and a member of the Core Team and Head of Production for Dance Legends in New York City for six years. Her career took a drastic turn when she fell in love with Equity Research at AB Bernstein where she worked for over 8 years in Corporate Access and Research Marketing as the Head of European Analyst Marketing to US Institutional Investors. At AB, she was on the Associate Steering Council and a Sell-Side representative on AB’s Global Purpose and Culture Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Latin Honors in Dramaturgy and Theatre History from New York University, as well as certificates in Entertainment and Media Management and Television and Screenwriting also from NYU, and a Masters in Religion and Literature with a focus on Old Norse Literature and Mythology from the University of Edinburgh.
